"T-Wrecks" was a project originally created for the 3rd year "Professional Project" module. Our team then carried the game forward to DARE Academy, eventually winning the runner-up prize. The game is an exercise based endless runner game that is controlled by an exercise bike, targeted towards laptops and created in Unreal Engine 4.

I was part of a three person art team for this project and I took on the role of 3D artist and art direction. I was responsible for creating every mesh, texture, material and animation in the game (excluding the dinosaur's topology), designing the environment singlehandedly and without concept art, and defining the games visual style and art direction. I also helped organise the general art pipeline of the game and co-ordinate the art team's efforts with the rest of the group.

I created a unique workflow to quickly and efficiently texture the assets without use of UV's, baking or unique textures for the most part. I've described this in more detail, displayed the style guide I created and given a holistic breakdown of my work on the project in this blog post. https://www.artstation.com/blogs/duncanreadle/8PKL/t-wrecks-3d-art-breakdown
